European investment fund new associate ICA member

The ICA would like to welcome SOFICATRA S.A. as a new associate member of the ICA.

SOFICATRA is a European investment company which provides equity and quasi-equity funding to support European small and medium enterprises (SMEs) of the Social Economy and their international development, including co-operatives. Through its subsidiary it also operates as a service provider in various areas related to finance and business growth. It has 8 shareholders who are also partners in their activities.

SOFICATRA has 8 shareholders including P&V Assurances (member of ICMIF) which holds 15% of the shares. It has a share capital of € 7.86 million and investment portfolio of € 4.23 million. SOFICATRA holds 5.4% of the shares of the Maison Europe des Coopératives. It has 2 staff members.

It was previously a member of CICOPA.
